We are taking a closer look outside our doors to the community in which our patrons live or work. We want to focus on local residents and organizations with the services they provide to us. Our theme, ALL TOGETHER NOW, focuses on kindness, friendship, and unity in the community. We hope to provide meaningful connections with local farmers, artists, our community college, the Metroparks system, Master Gardeners, and much more. After all, isn’t that what your public library does, make connections? We are bringing in a variety of classes to expand your horizon, learn a new hobby, and make new friends. One of our friends, Miss Sally from the Ohio State Extension office, is back with fun hands-on STEM programs, finishing at the end of July with a STEM challenge tournament! GMPL reserves the right to take photos of participants enrolled in programs or those attending a GMPL event. These photos are to be used strictly by GMPL for the purpose of advertising in future brochures, fliers, our website and social media. We will also make an announcement at the beginning of a children's program when photos are being taken. Those not wishing their child photographed, please raise your hand. That way the photographer knows not to include you or your child. Thank you. Peruse our newsletter and begin the registration process so you don’t miss a program for you or a family member, and bring a friend along. Please note programs listed in blue on the calendar are for the whole family. Keep in mind the use of our outdoor lockers. They provide you with 24/7 service when you can’t make it during open hours. If you are heading out for a vacation, why not borrow a hotspot for an internet connection and some audiobooks for the ride. If your child is playing a sport, check out our new online database, Hiveclass, for instruction in a variety of sports. Enjoy your summer, Adele Infante REGISTER ONLINE AT GMPLIBRARY.ORG
