Saturday, 1/21, 2/18, 3/18, 4/15, 10 AM It's a lesson, it's an activity, it's a scientist-led video from the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History featuring scientists and dino experts! Do U dino? Yes, I do! Please register for one program, not all four. Slime Day for Kids Saturday, 2/4, 10 AM We'll be making slime. Enough said. Tween Video Games Tuesdays, 1/10, 2/14, 3/14, 4/11, 4 - 5 PM Come hang out with us and play one of these great systems: PS3 or PS4, Ninetendo Switch or Wii, XBox 360 or One. Enjoy light refreshments. Tween Cafe: Jeopardy Monday, January 23, 4 - 5 PM In this Jeopardy-style Tween Café, tweens are able to show off expansive (and random) knowledge on a wide range and variety of topics. No registration is required so bring your friends and face off in this fun, Jeopardy-style trivia night! Slime Day for Tweens! Saturday, February 4, 2 - 3:30 PM We'll be making slime. Enough said. Tween Cafe: Valentine's Day Party Monday, February 13, 4 - 5 PM Whether you have a Valentine or not, all are welcome at this Valentine's party! We will make bling rings, love potions with a scientific twist, and Valentine's for the special one in your life! No registration is required so feel to free bring a friend! Makeup Magic with Miss Maggie Thursday, March 23, 4 - 5:30 PM During this 1.5 hour class, Maggie will give you advice on how to use makeup in a way that will allow you to be as creative as you wish! All genders are welcome to attend. What a Water-ful Craft: Hydro-Dipping Monday, April 3, 4 - 5 PM Tweens will use water and nail polish to create unique pieces! The plan is to do this program outdoors but may be moved indoors in case of weather. Back to School Dance Party Saturday, April 8, 3 - 4:30 PM LET'S PARTY! Learn all of the classic line dances like the Macarena, Cupid Shuffle, Cotton-Eyed Joe, and the Cha Cha Slide. Light refreshments served as well! Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy Graphic Novel Book Club Wednesday, April 5, 3 - 4:30 PM Clay has grown up under the mountain, chosen along with four other dragonets to fulfill a mysterious prophecy and end the war between the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. Pick up a copy of the graphic novel Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy at the Customer Service Desk beginning March 5th. No registration required. Make Your Own Seed Paper Thursday, April 6, 1:30 - 3 PM Sally from the OSU Extension Office will help us peddle our way into a beautiful flower garden using a Bike Blender. What is a bike blender, you may ask? Well, register for this program and you will find out!! Due to the physical nature of this challenge, we are asking children be between 9 - 12 years old.
