Starting October 1, participate in our Local Hero Memorial Tree project by bringing in a photo of your military veteran. The Library will supply everything needed to create a special ornament for the tree. It's a meaningful way to honor our local heroes and foster community pride.
A table in our New Adult fiction area has everything you need to create the ornament. Just bring a picture of your loved one, either active or inactive military and create the ornament here. If you prefer to take it home and work on it, that is fine. Please have it returned by November 1.
We will display the tree from November 1 - January 6. Collect your ornament the week of January 6, 2025.
