TAX ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

AARP Tax-Aide Program - Provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. You don't need to be an AARP member to use the service. GMPL participates in this service; please call the Library's Information Desk for details and setting up an appointment. (required)

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program - Offers free tax help to people who generally make $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and limited English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. Please call 2-1-1 for help or visit their website.
